A Note from DanSing!

I have enjoyed singing a cappella for as long as I can remember. The first pop song I sang while walking around my childhood neighborhood was Catch a Falling Star, sung by Perry Como. Later on, I enjoyed the Folk Song era as well as protest songs. I like to sing The Beatles, Peter, Paul, and Mary, and a variety of songs which strummed a chord within my heart. Recently, I listened to an interview with Tommy Smothers and, in part, he described the SmotherÕs Brothers as Òsingers of historic songs.Ó The phrase intrigued me at first and inspired me to do something similar.

So I sing short songs, longer ones, some very old, some new, some funny, some definitely not, some by the great singer songwriters and some by those unknown for the most part. Overall, the songs are those I enjoy singing, for one reason or another. IÕve had a good deal of fun over the years and now I would like to share this entertaining side gig of mine; it is time to Sing Out!

     Enjoy the Journeys,

Dan Brady, aka, DanSing
